Sherpa Romeo

What Is It

Sherpa Romeo is a searchable database of journals' and publishers' Open Access policies regarding the self-archiving of journal articles on the web and in Open Access repositories, such as DiVA.

How to Use It

Search by journal title or publisher name. Each version of an article (published, accepted or submitted) in a journal contains one or more pathways through which the article can be made Open Access. Pathways have different properties, with associated icons. You can learn more about the icons and Sherpa Romeo in their user guide.
