Publication fee

No Open Access Article Processing Charge (APC) for corresponding authors from participating organizations. Requirements to use the agreement:

• Corresponding author must be affiliated with Halmstad University.

• Your Halmstad University affiliation must be stated in the published article.

• Use your Halmstad University e-mail address at all stages of the publishing process. 

Workflow for authors

eLife peer-reviews only articles made available as preprints. Preprints that have undergone peer review can, if the authors so wish, then be published as traditional journal articles (Version of Record) in the journal.

What's included?

All articles sent in starting 2024-04-01.

The articles are published under the CC-BY license. Following article types are included: Research Articles, Short Reports, Research Advances and Tools and Resources Articles.
