Use SciFree to Find Journals Included in Open Access Agreements

Halmstad University library is part of a number of national agreements, that enable Open Access publishing at no cost or, in some cases, at a discounted fee. To make it easier for researchers to find information about the conditions that apply to a specific journal, the library has acquired access to the SciFree search service.

SciFree contains all scholarly journal titles included in the national and local publishing agreements in which the University Library participates. The service shows whether the publication fee is fully prepaid by the library or available at a discounted rate, as well as the licensing options offered by each journal.

It also links to detailed information on how researchers can take advantage of the agreement under which a journal is covered. The collections are updated regularly.
