Halmstad University has a Publish agreement with Copernicus Publications. This means that the Article Processing Charges (APCs) may be covered by the national agreement. Here we have summarized what you as a researcher need to know.

What’s included?

The Article Processing Charges (APCs) are covered by the national agreement with the publisher as follows:

• All articles sent to Copernicus journals after 2024-01-01 are included.
• The agreement covers unlimited publishing in approximately 50 Open Access journals: See list of Open Access journals A-Z.
• The agreement also covers special publications. Se list of Special publications
• All articles are published with a CC-BY license.
• All article types are included.

What's not included?

• Additional charges associated with the printed journal, such as color figures or offprints.

Requirements to use the agreement

• Corresponding author must be affiliated with Halmstad University.

• Your Halmstad University affiliation must be stated in the published article.

• Use your Halmstad University e-mail address at all stages of the publishing process.

Author workflow

Important: Corresponding authors have to do the following when asked: Is the corresponding author affiliated with one of the following institutions?

• First, select the option "Swedish universities, colleges, public authorities and research institutes" in the drop-down menu.
• Secondly, select "Halmstad University" in the drop-down menu.
