Halmstad University has a Read & Publish agreement with Elsevier. This means that the Article Processing Charges (APCs) may be covered by the national agreement. Here we have summarized what you as a researcher need to know.

What's included?

The Article Processing Charges (APCs) are covered by the national agreement with the publisher as follows:

  • The agreement covers unlimited publishing in all fully Open Access journals (Freedom Collection and Cell Press) and unlimited publishing in all hybrid journals in Freedom Collection. All eligible journals can be searched by title or subject on the following page: Bibsam Consortium: Find a participating journal in this agreement by title or by subject area
  • All articles are published with CC-BY license.
  • Following article types are included: Data in brief, Full-length article, Insights, Micro-article, Original software publication, Protocols, Review article, Short communication, Short review and Video article.

What’s not included?

  • Hybrid journals in Cell Press.
  • Additional charges associated with the printed journal, such as color figures or offprints.

Requirements to use the agreement

• Corresponding author must be affiliated with Halmstad University.

• Your Halmstad University affiliation must be stated in the published article.

• Use your Halmstad University e-mail address at all stages of the publishing process.
