IOP Publishing

Halmstad University has a Read & Publish agreement with IOP Publishing. This means that the Article Processing Charges (APCs) may be covered by the national agreement. Here we have summarized what you as a researcher need to know.

What's included?

The Article Processing Charges (APCs) are covered by the national agreement with the publisher as follows:

• Articles accepted for publishing starting 2026-01-01.
• The agreement includes unlimited publishing in all Open Access journals and in almost all hybrid journals. The journals included can be found in lists A, B, C and D in the title list of eligible journals.
• The articles are published under the CC-BY license.
• The agreement includes manuscripts of the type Paper, Special Issue Paper, Review and/or Letter (intended to cover all original research and review type content).

What's not included?

• Additional charges associated with the printed journal, such as color figures or offprints.

Requirements to use the agreement

• Corresponding author must be affiliated with Halmstad University.

• Your Halmstad University affiliation must be stated in the published article.

• Use your Halmstad University e-mail address at all stages of the publishing process.
