SciVal
SciVal is a web-based bibliometric analysis tool based primarily on the Scopus database. It can be used to visualise research performance, benchmark and compare performance, identify opportunities, and analyse research trends.
Halmstad University has access to two sets of modules, providing different tools for bibliometric analysis:
The Overview module: presents pre-defined analyses of the research performance of the University in relation to other institutions, countries and groups of researchers.
The Benchmarking module: create groups based on institutions, researchers, publications, countries or research areas to easily evaluate your research performance in comparison to others.
As a researcher affiliated with Halmstad University, you can get access to pre-selected lists of the university's researchers at the various schools. Contact The University Library’s Support for Researchers at helpdesk.diva[at]hh.se with a request.
Access and User Registration
You can access SciVal with the same username and password you use for other Elsevier products (such as ScienceDirect or Scopus). If you do not have a registered Elsevier user yet, you will need to first register one.
