ACM Open (Association for Computing Machinery)

Researchers at Halmstad University can publish Open Access at no cost in all ACM’s journals, conference proceedings and fully peer-reviewed research articles newly published in ACM’s magazines. The agreement applies to Open Access publishing in hybrid and Open Access journals from ACM. 

Publication fee

The Article Processing Charges (APCs) are covered by a national agreement with the publisher.

2023–2026

Terms and conditions

  • You must be the corresponding author, i.e., the one handling communication with the publisher and journal.
  • Your Halmstad University affiliation must be stated in the published article.
  • Use your university e-mail ending with @hh.se. The e-mail domain is used to recognize your eligibility.
  • The agreement applies to fact-checked articles.
  • Your article will be published under a CC BY license. Other licenses are available upon request.

What's not included?

Additional charges associated with the printed journal, such as color figures or offprints, are not included.
