Halmstad University has a Read & Publish agreement with Oxford University Press. This means that the Article Processing Charges (APCs) may be covered by the national agreement. Here we have summarized what you as a researcher need to know.

What’s included?

The Article Processing Charges (APCs) are covered by the national agreement with the publisher as follows:

• The agreement covers publishing in Open Access journals in OUP Fully Open Access. See Eligable journals list.
• All articles are published with CC-BY, CC-BY-NC and CC-BY-NC-ND licenses.
• The agreement covers the article types Research article, Review article, Brief report and Case report.

What's not included?

• Journals sometimes charge a fee in connection with a manuscript being submitted for publication and the article being accepted for publication. This fee is not included in the agreement.
  • In the following titles, the journal charges a fee in connection with accepting an article for publication: Journal of Leukocyte Biology (1938-3673), Stem Cells (1549-4918), Plant Physiology (1532-2548), The Plant Cell (1532-298X), Neuro-Oncology (1523-5866) and Biology of Reproduction (1529-7268).
  • In the following titles, the journal charges a fee in connection with submitting an article for publication (submission fees): Journal of Financial Econometrics (1479-8417), The Journal of Law, Economics, and Organization (1465-7341), SLEEP (1550-9109), Social Forces (1534-7605), Social Problems (1533-8533), Stem Cells Translational Medicine (2157-6580), Stem Cells (1549-4918), American Journal of Hypertension (1941-7225), Neuro-Oncology (1523-5866), The Plant Cell (1532-298X) and Plant Physiology (1532-2548)
• Additional charges associated with the printed journal, such as color figures or offprints.

Requirements to use the agreement

• Corresponding author must be affiliated with Halmstad University.

• Your Halmstad University affiliation must be stated in the published article.

• Use your Halmstad University e-mail address at all stages of the publishing process.
