Researchers at Halmstad University can publish Open Access free of charge in hybrid journals and some fully OA journals from Oxford University Press. The Article Processing Charges (APCs) are covered by a national agreement with the publisher.
Publication fee
No Open Access Article Processing Charge (APC) for corresponding authors from participating organisations for an unlimited number of articles.

Instructions for corresponding authors
- Log-in to OUP's "Author Services" site via the received email.
- On the page "Manuscript Licenses", select the type of licence which the article should be covered by. After selecting an Open Access licence (e.g. CC BY) and accepting the terms of that license the author will go on to the page "Publishing Charges for Your Article".
- Go to the sub-header ”Open Access Prepayment Account” and select "Swedish Universities (Bibsam affiliated)" in the scroll-down menu.
- Confirm and complete the subsequent steps in "Author Services".
- Please note that other charges such as color figures or offprints are not covered by the agreement.

About the agreement
The agreement is a national so-called “Read & Publish” agreement. The APCs are already prepaid, since the agreement includes both the costs of the library's subscriptions as well as the costs of Open Access publishing.
