Wiley
Researchers at Halmstad University can publish Open Access free of charge in journals from Wiley, including fully gold Open Access Journals from the imprint Hindawi. The article processing charges (APCs) are covered by a national agreement with the publisher.
Publication fee
No Open Access Article Processing Charge (APC) for corresponding authors from participating organisations for an unlimited number of articles.

Instructions for corresponding authors
When publishing in a Wiley fully Open Access journal, the corresponding author will be able to select Halmstad University as paying institution already with submission. When publishing in a subscription (hybrid) journal you will be asked to confirm your affiliation with Halmstad University and prompted to select the option “OnlineOpen” upon acceptance.
The library will be notified and asked to approve funding for each new article with a Halmstad University corresponding author. At the time of publication, the article becomes immediately Open Access, at no cost to you as an author. (Please note that other charges such as color figures or offprints are not covered by the agreement.)
What's included?
If the corresponding author is active at Halmstad University or one of the other institutions that are part of the Bibsam deal, there are no APC charges for publication in Wiley's journals, including Hindawi's fully gold Open Access.
What's not included?
Additional charges associated with the printed journal, such as color figures or offprints, are not included.
About the agreement
The agreement is a national so-called “Read & Publish” agreement. The APCs are already prepaid, since the agreement includes both the costs of the library's subscriptions as well as the costs of Open Access publishing.
